The International Firefighters Training Association would like to give a special thank you to City of Long Beach Fire Chief Dennis Buchanan, as well as Bob Moll and Glen Goodrich from the City of Long Beach Firefighter Museum and their team for helping make the donation of three fire engines possible. Their efforts in helping to keep the engines safe before their long journey to Mexico is greatly appreciated.

Firefighters from 27 different municipalities’ take-home donated equipment after completing IFTA training.

The International Firefighters Training Association donated fire / rescue and emergency medical equipment to the San Luis Rio Colorado Fire Department. The San Luis Rio Colorado Firefighters have been working in collaboration with IFTA in assisting transporting thousands of kilograms of fire, rescue and medical equipment to Mexico. They have been an instrumental part of our donation efforts.

The International Firefighters Training Association will be donating 1,587 kilograms of fire, rescue and medical equipment. The lifesaving equipment will be transported to the IFTA donation centers in Mexico to be prepared for distribution at our training symposiums. The donations include some specialized equipment:

20 sets of ARFF (Aircraft Rescue Firefighting) gear

50 sets of Swift Water rescue gear

Fire / Rescue / Haz Mat helmets

56 rescue hand tools

70 Complete sets of SCBA’s (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus)

72 pairs of new leather firefighting boots

103 sets of firefighting coats, pants, and boots

AEDS (Automatic External Deliberators)

Cordless power tools
Thermal Imaging Cameras
High angle rescue equipment
Multiple hydraulic rescue tools
Rescue webbing
SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) harnesses
Wildland Firefighting Equipment

IFTA Donates Firefighting Equipment to the Chapala Fire Department

IFTA Donates Fire / Rescue and Medical Emergency Equipment in Jalisco, Mexico.
Puerto Vallarta Red Cross personal received CPR school kits for their paramedic training program. The International Firefighters Training Association (IFTA), College and Carrer Advantage, Huntington Park Sister City (HPSC) and the Santa Barbara/Puerto Vallarta Sister City (SBPVSC) Committee all collaborated to make this donation a success.

Bomberos Voluntarios Ezequiel Montes Queretaro Visit

Bomberos Voluntarious Ezequiel Montes Queretaro made a visit to the IFTA warehouse in Orange County, CA. During this visit items were donated by the International Firefighters Training Association.
Armando Tinajero Hernandez, Miguel Angel Tinajero Hernandez, Leonardo Hernandez Almaraz, Jessica Hernandez Galvin and Leonardo Hernandez Galvin were able to pick out much needed fire, rescue and medical emergency equipment for their fire department.
Along with donated items, department tee shirts were exchanged with everyone.
