
1,587 kilograms of fire, rescue and medical equipment to be donated to Mexico.
The International Firefighters Training Association will be donating 1,587 kilograms of fire, rescue and medical equipment. The lifesaving equipment will be transported to the IFTA donation centers in Mexico to be prepared for distribution at our training symposiums. The donations include some specialized equipment:
- 20 sets of ARFF (Aircraft Rescue Firefighting) gear
- 50 sets of Swift Water rescue gear
- Fire / Rescue / Haz Mat helmets
- 56 rescue hand tools
- 70 Complete sets of SCBA’s (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus)
- 72 pairs of new leather firefighting boots
- 103 sets of firefighting coats, pants, and boots
- AEDS (Automatic External Deliberators)
- Cordless power tools
- Thermal Imaging Cameras
- High angle rescue equipment
- Multiple hydraulic rescue tools
- Rescue webbing
- SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) harnesses
- Wildland Firefighting Equipment
