International Firefighters Training Association Held Its First All-Female Firefighter Training Symposium

Over 120 female firefighters participated in classroom and hands on training from U.S.A. Urban Search & Rescue Task Force expert instructors as well as 44 instructors from various municipalities. This was the first ever all-female training symposium.  During the 4-day symposium they were trained in the following: 

• Propane Firefighting Emergences
• Vehicle Extrication
• Technical Rescue

The female fire fighters enjoyed time learning and connecting with other female fire fighters from 28 municipalities.
