September Equipment Transport

IFTA shipped over 1,569 Kilograms of fire, rescue and emergency medical supplies to the IFTA emergency equipment donation distribution center in Tuxpan, Mexico.

This shipment included multiple “Jaws of Life” extrication tools, 317 kilograms of high & low angle rope rescue equipment, 7 boxes of emergency medical equipment, and structural and forest firefighting safety equipment.

The volunteers spent weeks packing and transporting all donations to a staging area where it was picked up and taken across the border and trucked to Guadalajara.  We thank all the donating fire departments and volunteers who helped make this possible.

All this important lifesaving equipment will be donated to fire and rescue departments in need and to participants at the upcoming IFTA training symposiums.
