Jalisco Migrant Day

On December 14, 2019, International Firefighters Training Association President, Bret Russell attended the Sister Cities International “Jalisco Migrant Day” where he gave a presentation explaining the goals and objectives of the IFTA.

Gil Garcia from Santa Barbara / Puerto Vallarta Sister Cities Committee and Libier Jimenez, a federal government congresswomen and past president of the Federation of Migrant Club of Los Angeles also gave presentations.

Other guests included Mexican mayors and City Council officials.
After the presentations, everyone participated in informational breakout sessions and the event ended with a dinner and mariachis entertainment
