Over 60 firefighters and emergency responders from 7 fire departments throughout Jalisco arrive to the training symposium. Participants get checked in at the city of Puerto Vallarta’s main fire station and emergency operations center.

International Firefighters Training Association President Bret Russell and Vice President Wilber Guerra attended the Puerto Vallarta Rotary Club SUR meeting in October.
As the demolition of the City of Puerto Vallarta’s main fire station restrooms and shower facilities/changing rooms is being completed, the new building material is being delivered.

On November 9, 2019, International Firefighters Training Association President, Bret Russell attended the Southern California Sister Cities International Regional Meeting, where he presented a check to Marti Correa de Garcia of the Santa Barbara – Puerto Vallarta Sister City Committee.
During a meeting at the city of Puerto Vallarta Mayor’s office, International Firefighters Training Association President Bret Russell, Vice President Wilber Guerra and Puerto Vallarta Fire Chief Adrian Bobadilla presented the Mayor of Puerto Vallarta, Ing. Arturo Dávalos Peña with an official IFTA shirt, along with an IFTA challenge coin and coffee mug.
